WELCOME TO LIMBGO
We are here to help amputees, their
friends, family and carers. If this is you, please explore our site.
You’ve made the first step towards a brighter future.
Many people
experiencing the loss of a limb for the first time have mixed emotions,
such as feeling angry, scared, they have regret. They often feel there
is no one to talk to and they don’t need help. They ask, how will I
cope, how will my family cope, does this sound familiar?
Believe
us when we say, this is not uncommon and you are not alone. Everyone in
our group has felt like this at some point and are so glad they finally
opened up to talk and listen.
Support and advice is so close,
please, let us help…

you at home or in hospital
Support for amputees, their friends,
family and carers.
Usually, someone can call and see you in
hospital or at home right from the very beginning of your journey. Many
refuse this at first but nearly everyone that does, admits they should
have taken the offer of help earlier.
The first stage is to just
contact us, explain who you are and . We’ll get straight back to you and
discuss how we can best help.
